WHY I LOVE AT HOME WORKOUTS!

There are people that love going to the gym. There are people that do not. I am not one of those people :) Last year, I became a Resident Skinny Mom and was connected with other moms in an online community through the Skinny Mom website to help write articles and content for their readers (sadly - the program has dissolved, but it was fun while it lasted!). One of the articles that I wrote was all about WHY I ditched the gym and love my at home workouts.
Even though the article last year --- I still stand strong to every single one of the reasons I listed. I was reminded of this today when I got home from running errands with my 7 week old. He fell asleep in the car and was still sleeping - I really wanted to get my work out in and I couldn't decide if I wanted to just sit down and watch TV and wait for him to wake up - or attempt to work out. I decided to WORK OUT. Crazy, right? But it was Country Heat and pretty fun...I almost made it through the entire work out and was so sweaty - with only about 7 minutes left, little man woke up. And guess what? All I did was have to hit pause, pick him up and could instantly feed him (sweaty and all - sorry bud). When he was done eating, I set him up and finished my work out with a bang. THAT is what I love about it. That a 30 minute work out literally takes only 30 minutes of my time. And if I need to hit pause, I can. I don't have to drive to the gym, get dressed up, etc. I still just love it so much and it's still amazing to me how it actually works!
And look at how adorable he is - it makes me that much more motivated!! Love baby smiles!!!
